Foam Dodgeball Championship (FDC) tournament co-director Cody Stidham has crafted an awesome legacy award trophy for the event. The trophy will have an engraving for every champion of FDC for years to come! For 2022, Fortune (champions of the men’s division), and Instinct (champions of the women’s division), will have their names added to the trophy. Those teams join past FDC champions Anarchy, Fortune, Pride and Lone Star from 2019 and 2021, each with their own engraving.

We believe the FDC Legacy Trophy is the largest dodgeball trophy in the world. The trophy is approximately six-and-a-half-feet tall and has substantial weight. The wood base is solid and is milled from a single tree cutting. The trophy requires a dolly to be moved.

Cody wanted to create something really special for the champions of the Foam Dodgeball Championship. He envisioned the winning teams posing with the trophy for photos. And indeed the winning teams did enjoy posing with the towering trophy.

Realistically, the trophy is too big to be passed around like the NHL’s Stanley Cup. However, we expect the trophy to be a fixture for many years at the annual Foam Dodgeball Championship and we look forward to honoring future FDC champions on this noteworthy trophy.
